Patriot Ambulance observes a moment of radio silence
On Friday, Sep 11th at 8:46 am, Patriot dispatch observed a “moment of radio silence” on all channels for the duration of one minute in honor of the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks.
The moment of silence will started at 08:46 ET, the time of the first attack on America.
The following was the script that will be used.
08:45:40 ET (Alert tone) Attention all units on the air. . . . Patriot Ambulance will observe a moment of radio silence in honor of those who lost their lives eight years ago on this day, due to senseless acts of violence. Please take a moment to open your heart and pray for all the victims, their families and all of America. Please assume 1 minute of silence unless you have an emergency. . . .
